By default, when you open help topics, the document appears in the current SGIHelp Viewer window. If you want each topic you open to appear in its own window, choose Options > Active Viewer to turn off the active viewer.
You can also use File > Pin-Up to post the current topic in its own window. See “Posting a Selected Topic”.
 | Note: Turning off Active Viewer does not change the behavior of hyperlinks. Clicking on hyperlinked text displays the new topic in the current window. |
