XFS Manager is a set of graphical tools that allow you to observe and manipulate your disk resources, filesystems, and logical volumes. These tools have been designed to make disk administration as simple and understandable as possible. There are three tools:
xdkm | to manage the physical disk partitioning
xfsm | to manage the filesystems on the disks, and remote mounted filesystems used with NFS.
xlvm | to manage logical volumes, and the software objects that make up logical volumes. |
To bring up the XFS Manager applications, you must first have the XFS Manager software installed on your system, and on all systems you might wish to access with XFS Manager.
Before XFS Manager can be used to deal with the disk or file system resources on your system, the XFS Manager Daemon must be running. Once you have installed the XFS Manager, issue the following command:
/etc/init.d/xfsmgr start |
