The information in the former chapter 2, “Getting Acquainted with Trusted IRIX/CMW” has been moved or deleted.

Login information in chapter 3, “Understanding System Access,” has been revised and new information has been provided on logging in using telnet or terminal sessions.

Information has been added to chapter 3, “Understanding System Access,” on differences in using the window manager under Trusted IRIX.

Information in chapter 4, “Importing and Exporting Data,” on printing files with numeric labels has been removed because it does not apply to Trusted IRIX/CMW systems. Information has been added on preserving MAC labels when performing magnetic tape backups and on using CD-ROM devices in a Trusted IRIX/CMW environment.

The table of system and library calls in chapter 6, “Programming in a Trusted Environment,” has been revised.
