To resolve this situation:
Check the connections and the cables running from the serial port to the tablet and make sure they are firmly attached.
Make sure the serial port has been configured specifically for a tablet:
From the Toolchest, select “System” then “System Manager” then “Hardware and Devices” and the “Serial Device Manager.”
If the problem persists, contact your System Administrator or your service provider.
